Route 1:
You get to experience anything and everything at one place. Ladakh offers rivers, lakes, hills, deserts and waterfalls. Its serene Beauty, thrill and the culture is what can not be missed while on this trip.
Day 1
The route which is followed starts from Leh. Most likely, a hotel representative will be accompanying you to the hotel. Get the check in done and take some rest. Have a meal at the hotel and start your sightseeing in the evening. There are few popular places like the Leh Palace and Shanti stupa. You can also try your hands on the local Leh market there and pamper yourself with the local handicrafts and cuisine.
Day 2
Calls for a travel from the hotel to Sham Valley. You can start your journey after having sumptuous breakfast in the hotel until and unless you want to hop on to some local cuisine. You will be travelling on the Leh-Srinagar highway. Try visiting the places like Magnetic hill, Hall of fame, Gurudwara, the famous school from the movie 3 idiots. You can return back to the hotel for a night stay.
Day 3
Will be an adventurous ride for you. Start in the morning and leave for Nubra Valley. Take a stopover at Khardung-La Pass (highest motorable pass) and relax for some time. Nubra Valley is famous for its white sand desert and also has sand dunes. Visit the famous Diskit monastery and enjoy the camel ride. Have an overnight stay at Nubra Valley in campsite of your choice.
Day 4
Will take you to the highest salt water lake called Pangong lake. It is located on the Indo- China border. Stay overnight near the lake at the campsite.
Day 5
Is the way back from Pangong to Leh. You can stop at Chang-La pass and have a visit to Chang-La café. Head back to hotel and take rest.
Day 6
Will mark the end of your beautiful journey and you will head back to the airport for your final destinations.
Route 2:
This is a 12-day journey. You can start your journey from Manali from where you can collect your bikes. Reach Manali after an overnight journey from Delhi.
Day 1
Is a rest day. Explore the place and collect your bikes in the evening.
Day 2
Start from Manali to Jispa via Atal tunnel which is the longest underground highway. You can explore the most scenic Sissu lake and waterfall. Reach Jispa in the evening and stay in the campsite at night.
Day 3
Start from Jispa to reach Sarchu. Deepak Tal, Zingzing Bar and Suraj Tal are some of the must visit stop over places to see. And stay at a campsite in the night.
Day 4
Reach back to Leh on this day and stay at the hotel overnight and enjoy the sightseeing in Leh on Day 5.
Day 6, 7 and 8
Takes you to Nubra Valley and from there to Pangong Lake and then back to Leh.
Day 9
Start from Leh in the morning for Sham Valley. Visit the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara and Magnetic Hill. There are many other places which you can visit provided you have time. reach Kargil by the evening and stay overnight there at a hotel.
Day 10
Drive towards Srinagar from Kargil. Pass through the Drass village and get a chance to visit the War Memorial in Kargil. Spend the rest of the day and night at Srinagar. Depart from Srinagar airport to the final destinations on Day 11 marking an end to your beautiful and much awaited journey.
